Hailstones and Bat wings

We spent today looking up a companion for desa and isis, stevie did anyway! the two we like the most are singapura's and egyptian mau's. We wanted a savannah which is a wild cat but your not allowed them in Australia. Not to worry we aren't adding to our happy family anytime soon, but its still good to window shop. We got some pizza for lunch today and then went over to Brookside to get stevies money back from medicare for going to the doctors, there we went into the best lil shop called Anthenas which has some beautiful things, stevie got me a lovely bird broach from there a few weeks back, Judy would love it so much, I went through it going I like that that that and that!
We then went to dads work to see some kangaroos, its about 30 minutes away and we went on a lovely drive past Mt Cootha botanical gardens and quite posh hilside suburbs like bardon and towoong. It was unusually hot today and there were dark clouds about and we only saw about 100 kangaroos, with about 10 being really close. After that we stopped for icecream on the way home, and had a nap with the airconditioner on, but were awoken by a huge HUGE storm,it hailed for a lil while and we continued to have thunder and lightning for nearly 2 hours. I got up and turned off the airconditioner and then sat on the balcony watching it with Desa who handled it pretty well, after the first 45 mins, when the rain wasnt as bad an influx of bats came by,one which was so close it nearly stopped on our roof.
