Brisbane River from the City cat 8am

Rivercat

Along the Brisbane River from Bretts Wharft to Southbank Parklands

This morning at 7am we went into the city to the Riverside Craft Markets and had breakfast. We then walked around all the markets, and then caught a 'city cat' catamaran to south bank where we got juice, looked around the markets and had a stroll around Streets Beach. It's an absolutely beautiful day today, so blue skied and sunny, but not too hot. After dropping Stevie off to work, my mum and I drove into the valley and then onto New Farm which is a very *trendy* part of town, to look at a cinema I will book to see Davinci Code in, and to have breakfast at next Sunday.
I have 5 days off for Easter from the Friday until the Tuesday, and Stevie only has to work the Saturday, so we're looking at staying somewhere maybe near Maleny in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, so we can make day trips to the beach aswell. Most of the beach places are all booked up, and you need to have a min. 1 week booking in school holidays. Not to bother as a week later, we have Anzac Day which is the Tuesday and the Wednsday, 25th and 26th of April off together, and we going down to Pottsville for Monday and Tuesday night and then we will go to Dreamworld or Seaworld for the Wednsday day. http://www.dreamworld.com.au http://www.seaworld.com.au
Judy you would love the markets here, alot of Reflexologists giving massages, handmade soaps and lotions, and homeopath stalls.
Here are some pics of the morning!
