We're back!

Stevie and i have the internet again! Yea! Its been eventful since we moved in, things are happening but not as quickly as we'd like. The carpet guy didnt turn up today which we werent happy about and he was a jerk and hung up on stevie when we phoned enquiring on where he was, so we have to find someone new. Never mind, putting pictures up on the walls has been a nightmare as you have to be really carefull with the fibro walls, so in the following pics you will see paintings and prints near where they will eventually be placed. We went and got all these special wall fittings for them, but you need a drill for them so its waiting until next week whilst dads on holidays.
We have found blinds for the windows and next tuesday we will go investigate about curtain material, and bedside tables for our room. I have put on big shaggy rugs for both living rooms which we will pick up next week too. Until then, the lacy curtains will have to stay.
We have decided we wont paint the house before Judy comes, its too much work and we are wanting to check out alot of qld workers cottage houses to see what colours look the best. So our goal is to get this year the inside all fixed up and next year, the painting of the house and the paving of the back yard and driveway.
We took a really long walk (REALLY LONG AS STEVIE WOULD SAY) around the beach,marina and the waterfront around the bay this morning, we stopped for some burgers 1/2 way. It was quite a warm day so we were both very tired by the end of it. We will show you a very small selection of pics of the house. Bear in mind the curtains wont be the same, there will be some new rugs and a few more lamps,knick knacks to be bought. In the green living room we have bought a creamish/beige very large shaggy rug and we have today decided we are going to have it quite 70's like with german pottery lamps and vases. We also have another matador brass hanging that needs to arrive above the bar and we are awaiting a whole heap of posters and prints from scotland, to decorate a few more of the walls.
